The show was nicknamed “Bobfest” by Neil Young. The house band for the entire concert was essentially Booker T. & the M.G.’s—Booker T. Jones (organ), Donald “Duck” Dunn (bass), Steve Cropper (guitar)—with drummers Anton Fig and Jim Keltner, and G.E. Smith as musical director and additional guitar.
